Broadcast Solutions at IBC2007 Newly Launched NEXIO AMP™ Advanced Media Platform Among Honorees CINCINNATI, September 20, 2007 — Harris Corporation (NYSE:HRS), an international communications and information technology company, was honored with three prestigious industry awards at the 2007 International Broadcasting Convention (IBC2007) convention in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The company?s next-generation NEXIO AMP™ advanced media platform won TV Technology-Europe magazine’s STAR Award (Superior Technology Award Recipient). NEXIO AMP™ dramatically expands the functionality of video transmission servers and provides a foundation for a scalable, end-to-end HD/SD television solution. Its server architecture breaks new ground for fault tolerance, while the ability to add software-enabled media services improves workflow efficiency throughout the entire acquisition-transmission chain. Harris was also honored with Broadcast Engineering magazine’s Pick Hit award for its HD-STAR™ handheld HD/SD personal test monitor and generator and its Videotek® QuiC™ media analysis server system. The HD-STAR™ is the only handheld product on the market that provides both an HD and SD test generator with monitoring. It is a rechargeable, handheld HD-SDI and SD-SDI video and audio monitor and video generator with embedded audio.
